Life is not something that someone can say it to be ordinary. To me, Life is something extraordinary, because you never really get to know when will your time be up, how and where. I guess that is why many people like to say this one quotation:
Live life to the fullest
I remember reading from somewhere, maybe it was one of Buddha's teaching about how to treat life in the most harmonious way. I read something about "what comes must go, and what goes must also come". The whole idea is somewhat like what was written in Harry Potter, "To find what is lost, you must first loose it in order to find it". A common sense there. How can one find something that is not already lost? That would not be finding in the first place.
Anyway, what my point is, that when it comes to life, people are born and people are dying. It wouldn't be fair if its just people born all the time, that would create population over load. It wouldn't be fair too if people are dying all the time, there would not be enough space to bury them all and human will one day seize to exist! Just like the teaching in Taoism:
Everything needs a balance in nature, the good and the bad, the light and the dark, the life and the death. If one where to take over the numbers, than chaos will eventually override everything that we now know off.
The reason why I say that life is extraordinary yet death is just something ordinary in life that we have to face, is because death, is something that we know a hundred percent that will happen to each and every one of us. But only the question of when, how, where, resides in our mind until that day truly comes. Death is just something normal in every culture. There is not a single extraordinary in it, because we have out grown of death. Death due to sickness, death due to old age, death due to accident and so on. Then comes the four wooden walls of coffin to place the dead into the ground. What so special about that? The special thing about death is that of the memory they leave behind with the people who bury them. But such memories are only possible to imprint onto people's life is only when they are alive. Like they normally say:
Be with the ones you love and enjoy each and every moment you spent together.
I admit one thing in life. I ALWAYS try to avoid death, avoid having to go to the funeral of someone related to me, or someone that I like and have a memory off. It is not that I am afraid. But what I can say is that there would be so many questions. Questions that I often ask myself, is there really heaven and hall? Or maybe its just a make up believe in the holy books. What if there is no where that the dead can go? What if they are actually all stuck on the earth or even worst, stuck in their own coffins, like the movie about a man being bury alive, but change the real man to the soul of the dead.
Life to me, it is more of a journey. Depending on how I want to travel and with whom. There are no rules in the traveling of life, only that governments make such rules to control us. But doesn't mean that we don't have a control of our own lives. Whats extraordinary about life is of how you play the game.
This is ScartyScarf, running off! See ya folks.
